DSO RTU with Sibelga, the Brussels-Capital Region grid operator.
Sibelga is the distribution grid operator for the Brussels-Capital Region. The Voltmasters EMS supports DSO RTU with Sibelga.
To use it, set the telecontrole provider to Sibelga under Project settings → Telecontrol.
Sibelga conveys its grid states to the installation through switch positions: the Sibelga RTU drives dry-contact outputs whose positions represent the current grid instruction. These contacts are wired to the inputs of the IO extension module on the controller, and each input is mapped to the corresponding grid state during commissioning.
The EMS then applies the curtailment for the active state to PV, batteries, EV charging and loads, exactly as for any other operator — only the way the state is received differs.
